In the span of 6 months, we strategized and redesigned the experience of Sustainable Investing, Private Investing, About Us, and Corporate Sustainability. The resulting platform effectively communicates Wellington's brand identity while prioritizing user experience and adherence to compliance regulations and organizational requirements.

Wellington's digital platforms serve as a primary touchpoint for their target audience: Institutional Investors, Intermediaries and startup founders.

As a general consumer, I wasn't familiar with the target audience of Wellington, so it was very important for me to try to understand their roles, responsibilities and their needs when they come onto the site of Wellington.

The investigation provided me the insight that:

  1. Users not only consider Wellington as a potential partner, but they also use the site as a resource

  2. The current site navigation is confusing and prevents users from getting the information they need

How might we help Wellington's target customers to find what they need?

How might we help Wellington showcase their forward-thinking and deep expertise, differentiate from competitors, and create specialized destinations for key targets?

After researching on target users, I understand better about their background, responsibilities and what they’re looking for when they come to the site.

Summary

After my part was done, I was removed from the project right away, hence I wasn't able to conduct any user testing or measure project success. However, if I was given to the opportunity to do that, I would suggest appropriate methods for future evaluation:

  1. Usability Testing: Recruit users and observe them as they interact with the redesigned pages.

  2. A/B Testing: Compare the performance of the redesigned pages against the original ones. 3. Use metrics including click-through rates, time on page, and bounce rates.

  3. Surveys and Questionnaires: Collect feedback from target users to provide qualitative data on user satisfaction and preferences.

  4. Analytics: Implement website analytics tools to track user behavior on the redesigned pages.

If I had concrete data, I would evaluate project success using KPIs:

  1. Increased user engagement: time on page, bounce rate, and pages per session.

  2. Improved conversion rates.

  3. Enhanced brand perception: Qualitative feedback through surveys and interviews.

  4. Improved search engine rankings (SEO).
